DJ LORD OTB
Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Lord OTB born Lord Barnes started his career as a DJ 10 years back and from that point forward he has been making tremendous strides .
Born on 23rd June 1993, he previously served as both Magnom's official DJ and the official DJ of the Live Breakfast Club (LBC), which aired on Live 91.9fm from Monday through Friday from 6 am to 9 am.
He has had the privilege of working with a number of well-known figures in Ghana's radio industry during the course of his radio career, including Antoine Mensah, Sammy Forson, Bella Mundi, KOD, Naa Ashorkor, Ms Naa, and others.
He’s graced some of the top-most shows and concerts in Ghana in the past year. He played the S Concert, Ghana Meets Naija , MTN Pulse campus activations, Guinness Accravaganza, UK-Ghana Diaspora New Year Networking Mixer amongst others. DJ Lord OTB toured Rwanda, Uganda, and Mauritius with Magnom, as well as Gambia , South Africa and Kenya with King Promise, where they both excelled in their own sectors, proudly representing Ghana.
One of his strengths is creating expertly curated mixtapes, which explains why Ghanaians listen to his mixtape the most. His mixtapes have received millions of streams across all streaming services, which is one of the things that sets him apart from the others.
In 2016 , he won a honor for the Best Campus DJ at the Ghana Tertiary Awards. Also in 2022, he emerged as the winner in the category of 'Mixtape DJ Of The Year' at the Ghana DJ Awards. In addition to winning two other accolades, Southern DJ of the Year and Mixtape of the Year, he was the most sought-after DJ of the Year at the Guinness DJ of the Year the following year, 2023. In 2024, he won the coveted DJ of the Year at the 3 Music Awards. He has worked with a few artists; Feli Nuna, Magnom, Eazzy, Darko Vibes, Edem, Mr Drew, Lord Paper , Frank P, Kwesi Arthur, Kofi Mole, Larruso, Quamina MP, King Promise & more.
